Our Mission

Advocacy and Public Outreach are two of the most important and challenging tasks identified by our membership. At the state and national level, the AIA is committed to actively lobbying government to further support our community and the safety of the public at large by ensuring proper legislation is passed. At the local level, our Section works both to support these parent organizations and to advocate for similar progress at the local level.

Our Section is constantly seeking to further its ties with industry and other parallel professional organizations to identify sources of potential network growth. With a variety of sponsorships and co-hosted events, our members gain access and exposure to a wide outreach platform.

OUR GOALS

We are committed to providing high quality programming in the form of membership meetings, lectures, and building tours. With our diverse activities and events, we continue to promote a culture of mentorship and collaboration among our members.

We are dedicated to supporting personal and professional development across all firms and career stages. Many of our events are subsidized by membership dues and offer opportunities for a variety of discounts to ensure maximal participation and reducing financial burdens.
