Architect (Registered)

LBE, Inc. is looking for an architect with 5+ years of experience in an architecture firm. Candidate must be able to produce a set of construction documents with minimal assistance. Design work will include new construction and renovation projects across federal, commercial, and industrial business sectors.

Responsibilities Include:

  • Design and production work including architectural detailing through construction documents – using Revit

  • Perform field verification and travel to sites

  • May travel (<10%) to customer sites for field inspections.

  • Developing specifications in SpecsIntact

  • Perform construction administration activities – responding to RFIs, reviewing submittals, and other related activities

  • Perform other assigned duties as deemed necessary by supervisor

  • Performing QA/QC Reviews when assigned

  • Establish and implement standards, processes, procedures, and workflows

Minimum Qualifications:

  • Degree from a NAAB accredited program;

  • Proficiency with AutoCAD and Revit;

  • Ability to prioritize and execute tasks accurately, effectively, and confidently;

  • Basic understanding of:

    • Design solution development

    • Building systems, detailing, and technology

    • Applicable codes, life safety requirements, regulations, and standards

    • Differing building types and project delivery methods

    • Programming and planning methods

  • Architectural registration; SC preferred

  • This position requires the candidate to be eligible for a U.S. Security clearance.

  • Effective verbal and written communication skills

Desired Experience:

  • Experience working on federal projects with knowledge of the UFC and UFGS

  • LEED Credentials

  • Experience in SpecsIntact

  • NCARB Certification

  • Master of Architecture

Salary Range & Benefits

  • $90,000-110,000
